In January 2008, Mr. Mansouri was retained by the family of an elderly woman who was killed by a negligent driver while crossing the street in a wheelchair. Through his aggresive representation, Mr. Mansouri was able to obtain a settlement in excess of $1,000,000.
In April 2008, Mr. Mansouri was featured on the Womens Entertainment (WE) network program "Women Behind Bars" for his efforts representing Rose Ann Parker who in 2001 became the first California inmate inprisoned for murder to be granted parole by then Governor Gray Davis. Mr. Mansouri successfuly argued that the Battered Womans Syndrome defense should have been applied by the court in her murder trial, and was therefore instrumental in Ms. Parker's release from prision.

What is Family Law?
What most people think of as a family law case is a divorce case. Divorce, also known as a dissolution of marriage, is a legal proceeding brought by either spouse to terminate the marriage. Along with the termination of the marriage, other issues are decided such as division of property, determination of the appropriate amount of spousal and/or child support, if any, and child custody and visitation.
